Vivid Racing shortie antenna
Shortie antenna is worth at least 15 HP.
Those interested can also go with the Audi TT version which AFAIK is even smaller... or might be the exact same one. Not 100% sure... but they all fit.
Good looking option if you don't mind cutting your reception (my younger brother has one on his Jetta, cut his radio reception a little but looks much cleaner...)

Regardless the reason I did not get it, was it cost
$125.00 !!!!!
I then went to the Honda dealer and purchased the S2000/Element antenna for $20.97 including tax.
but does it work?
Kinda of a silly question, but does the shorter antenna effect reception? AM? FM? Any channels more/less clear? I know the in-windshield antennas allways got poor reception.
Sweating the stiff stuff,
Sweating the stiff stuff,
well .. I don't listen to AM / FM much however from what little I did playing around, the Honda antenna seems to pick up FM a little bit better then the stock mitsu. In my garage anyhow, who knows in any case I'd say they are at least equal

Thank you for the comparo picture. I appreciate that you took the time to show us the exact difference.
This won't effect the downforce of the rear picnic table will it?

I wasn't going to do it, until I saw that the Toyota Corolla parked next to me, had the same exact stock antenna. I decided if I was going to look like someone else, it was better it be an S2000.
Now all the toyota corolla people can upgrade to the Lexus antenna

I really got it to save money on a car cover. Its a ***** to find a cheap cover that goes over those big antennas.
I think I may have found a 3" antenna too. Just need to verify it fits.
