Vivid Racing shortie antenna
fedex just dropped off my "JDM antenna" from Vivid Racing.
I have thought about removing the antenna alltogether since I rarely listen to AM/FM. However the shortie looks pretty good, have to live with it awhile.
I really have to admit from the write up I thought Vivid had JDM mitsu antennas . The shortie came in a honda bag, so I'm guessing its just an s2000 antenna

That's exactly what I did yesterday. Local Honda dealer had it in stock. First he didn't believe me that it's a direct screw in replacement. He had to go out in the lot to see for himself. I think he just wanted to check out the evo.

Why would vivid racing charge more than the dealer I hope they know that little stuff like this will hurt their reputation
Thanks everyone for confirming that the S2000 antenna is the same unit used as the JDM evo's.

cost about $15 + $4 shipping

gtr, the JDM Evo use similar looking antenna as the s2000, but I doubt Mitsu is getting their parts from Honda.

Instead of ordering it and paying 19-20 bucks and waiting a week or 2 for the antenna, just go to your honda dealer, pay from 20-23 bucks and get it on the spot... its worthe the extra 3 bucks to have it on the spot, not worry about shipping issies, and to watch the honda dealer empty out, including the dealers, to go see the evo.
did i mention the s200 antenna also has better reception than the stock one?

not to mention they are selling Bushur racing parts for $50 more then Bushur himself... Considering you can order the stuff directly from the source why would they charge more???
I will never purchase anything from Vivid.. although i do appreciate the fact that they have a plethora of parts for the Evo, alot of them are not designed for the USDM Evo, thus the false advertising and price gauging that goes on with that company... sorry but u got hosed
I got my antenna from handaaccessories.com for $15 - vivid was originally charging $50 and offered a special for evo's $35 - what a rip off
