Think a dealer would trade a stock evo for my moded Z

I have an 03 350Z touring with a little under 30,000 miles and with these mods:

Nismo exhaust, suspension, sways, flywheel, top speed headers, Ultimate Racing High Flow cats, UR pulley, Plenum spacer, C-West body kit, RH CP-F Tune rims, Siebon CF hood.

I've been thinking of trading it in for an Evo 8. My question is would a dealership take a moded car in for a trade, or would I have to return it to stock? Even if it was stock would I get close enough to make a total trade for an Evo 8?

Stock hood:

Carbon:

I'm interested in a fast sporty car that would be practical to drive year around and one that has more than 2 seats. The 350Z isn't my daily driver (I actually hardly drive it now). If I could trade the Z for an Evo I would use it as my daily and I would consider selling my current daily driver.

If anyone has any advice as to whether or not the Evo would make a good daily driver or not please let me know that as well, thanks!

Usually dealers do not pay extra for mods, in some cases actually giving less. The Nismo mods are from Nissan so those you could say are factory add-ons, which should be added to the value. I would remove everything that isn't Nismo and then trade it in and sell the remaining parts on eBay or something.

They will probably take it but, you might get less money for it than you would if it was stock. I traded an 02 mustang gt for my evo, and I had similar mods done to it. I wanted to take them off but did not get the opportunity as finding the Evo and buying it before someone else did only took me about a day and a half. The dealership tried to give me less than I wanted but I said no way, as I had kept the car in excellent shape. They finally gave me what I wanted. My advice is since the mods are not going to make the car worth anymore, take off what you can and sell it, and at least get some money for them. Trade the car in as close to stock as possible.

Thanks.

I don't know I guess I'm kind of tired of it. I also want a turboed car and I can't afford to put a turbo in the Z and don't want to worry about the reliability issues.

It is far better in terms of saving money to sell your parts yourself serparate from the car.

But it sounds like an Evo is perfect for your situation, that is exactly why i got it. 4 doors, works in the winter, fun in the summer, good all around DD w/ the bike to ride on nice days, it works out perfect.

If a dealer gave me between 22 - 25K that would be awesome, but I doubt that would happen. Couldn't I find a used Evo for around 25?

depending on dealerships and and mods, some would actually consider it. i traded in my 02 acura rsx, with skunk 2 suspension, JDM badging and moded headlights. i ended up getting a good amount for it. i had a hella alot more mods on it but ended up selling privately because i dont think dealers like a car with motor mods. if your in the oakland park area which im assuming is ft lauderdale ride up to car max see how much they would quote you for a trade in and then bring that to the dealership when your ready to trade in.
