evo specific grounding kit for cheap? (yes, I searched)

Yes, I did search - I found a lot of info on grounding kits (HKS, buddy cub etc) , but they are a lot of money for what they are.

I also found generic kits for cheap, but read of quality issues, non-soldered wires, cheap ring terminals etc....

So, is there a compromise - good quality and cheap? Does it come with directions on install and which grounding points to use?

Or do I make my own? I was going to use a distribution block and run 4 gauge to it and the others off the distibution block?

I found the two attached pics for grounding points - if someone has more to add, that would be great!

Also, there are 2 styles: One is seperate wires while the other is like one long wire (as pictured below) Any difference between the two?

Please let me know!

Thanks!

So, you are saying: buy an expensive kit? They all look the same - wires to different points in the bay, right?

You could just as easily build your own "grounding kit" for $10 or less with parts from the electrical/wiring dept at you local Home Depot or Lowes.

I have the Sun Auto Cyber Speed Hyper Grounding Kit and Hyper Voltage kit. They are specifically designed for the EVO and have specific grounding points. However, it is not cheap. I noticed an improved idle, brighter headlights, slightly better torque, and better throttle response. It is used on the record breaking Cyber EVO.

Just make your own. The thicker the wire the better. Its just a ground for christ's sake.

I have the lineage grounding kit. Thick wires, platinum ends, crimped not soldered, I think 7 different colors. I got it for 60 dollars from vivid racing. Lineage.com has em for 60 dollars to.For the price you can't beat the quality-I was very impressed with the kit and would recomend it to anyone looking for a alternative to the bigger name brand ones.

grounding kits are useless besides slightly better voltage. LMAO @ the "increased torque" comment!

I also have both of the kits from Cyber Speed. First I had the Voltage kit with a cheap DIY kit. I was so impressed by the voltage kit, I thought "damn if this is this good then the Grounding Kit got to be impressive too. - Nope. I didn't notice anything. But I give a to the Voltage kit.
