Dealer Installed Brake Ducting?
Dealer Installed Brake Ducting?
I've noticed that brake ducting is listed in the dealer installed options. I've tried a search, but I've found little as to what it actually is. I was under the impression that the Evo came with some sort of ducting standard. What's the difference between the two? How do I tell if the dealer actually installed it or if they are BSing me?
Thanks!

The accessory (dealer installed) brake ducting consists of a n abs plastic diverter that mounts to each of the lower A-arms to further direct the air to the brakes. They are not present in the photo, but you can see the A-arms that the diverters mount to. They are really more of air diverters than they are ducting in the traditional sense. If you have them you will see the additional pieces under your car that are not present in the photo.
The front, aerodynamic undertray in the photo of an EVO VII effectively manages airflow under the front of the vehicle and directs incoming air toward the brakes, transmission, and differentials while also reducing lift and drag.
