Someone was saying on this thread that they saw a Mits Dealer selling a 9 for $27K. Well that is either for a demo with a couple thousand miles on it, or just a ploy to get you in the dealer. The cheapest 9 is the RS (as like the 8) with no A/C, No Power nothing, no spoiler, no ABS, well you all know, and those retail at $29K. I seriously doubt Mits dealer is going to take a Loss on the car. Sounds like a ploy to me. I know that the 9 now has some more options. The 8 was simple, RS, 8. Then a couple years later the MR came along. But the cars pretty much came the same. Now, my 9 has no HID's, (which I actually like better) no Intercooler misting (ACD pump instead). But, what I do like better is the smoked out tail lights and headlights, leather alcantar interior. But....there is an option for the HID's but it comes with the upgraded stereo with subwoofer. So, the 9's have a more variety of options compared with the 8. Anyway, Good luck with the new car, welcome to expensive insurance and allot of people hating you, haha, but sometimes in a good way.....

 

FWIW, the RS comes with A/C. It also has an aluminum roof, like the MR, as well as an option package that includes gauges and the very cool aluminum shift knob. It's a factory racecar that's a genuine Q-ship on the street.
