It's all hearsay until we hear something from mitsubishi. I could see this motor going in to a Lancer but not an Evo X.

I read an article in car and driver naming the dodge caliber to be the new srt to replace the neon.

Did anyone look at the dates on that site. I would say that the info is most def wrong. I find it hard to believe that this could have been kept quiet this long and we have already seen the concept X at auto shows and in print as being the EVO X. 07 is not that far out now. The domestic companys would be showing their car to get feed back before release to the public.

i believe that same magazine mentioned that chrylser-mitsu-hyundai were going to be using the same motor as mentioned in the threads by the op.

yeah but the new srt4 is in a dodge caliber body, and the current line of srt-4(neon) was never sold in 2006.(other than leftover '05's)
