Problems with 04 evo

ok, starting problem is because of vishnu.
a few people have had this happen.
try disconnecting the vishnu unit and strating the car, i'm sure it will start fine.

NEVER buy a used evo is my philosophy. i dont care if i know the guy, "low" miles, etc... i would never. if you can't afford to buy it new... you probably can't afford to maintain it.

This is a very good philosophy to follow, except if your a mechanic. If your a mechanic I suggest you buy the most modified Evo you can find to save money. Thats what I did and I have only had minor issues and hardly paid anything in maintenance thus far.

Sounds like you are having cold start issues with the XEDE. If at all possible check what version firmware you have. If it's not up to date you can find the new firmware and software here:
