Does the BR Magnaflow down pipe use a gasket or does it just fit in without the doughnut gasket?

I know rest of the pipe uses 2 clamps and 1 gasket where the dp meets the rest of the exhaust.

Also, did all of you use stock spring bolts or just regular bolt on the downpipe?

spring bolts are a must to allow movement of the exhaust due to engine movement. I believe some DP's with flex joints are the exception to this rule but dont quote me on that.

 

If you follow the directions it says to remove the spring bolt and use the ones that they (Buschur) supplies.

As for the donut gasket.... it comesoffif you want the DP to connect. Oh and no i didn't use gaskets. If you have any leaks near the slip fit clamps then use a impact wrench...it will work, trust me.
