evo got ended up on the sidewalk. couple Questions.

yesterday my friend took my car to work and He ran over the curb hit a light pole and damaged my front bumper. He made brake and lost control . all of these were caused by a dog. the cop came and made a report... i dont know if it will be covered under my insurance because it's under my name..
I hope nothing else damaged...bad week for me.

sorry about not metioning that I was in the car with him because i was going to drop him off and took the car home.

Well I would make sure your suspension is alright. Granted our cars are based upon the rally car but the road going versions don't have the same setup

Long as he has insurance your car should be covered -- from what I have learned from the past is anything with insurance can and will change. I would check your state's laws on how insurance coverage is done.

Here, if someone else was driving my car and they had a wreck, long as they had insurance my car would be covered.

Oh, sorry about your luck. It really sucks when your car is damaged -- hope all turns out well!

I hope your friend is on the policy. Otherwise, I doubt the insurance company will cover the damages. Give them a call and find out.

NO. NO. NO. NO.

DO NOT file an insurance claim with YOUR auto insurer. File an claim against your FRIEND's auto insurance policy. Get all his insurance info and contact his insurer ASAP.

wow sorry to hear the bad news, but you shouldn't have let a friend with no car and no insurance take your car. I guess you have to learn the hard way, hope it works out ok for you

You said "he made brake and lost control" I hope he wasn't using the E-brake and trying something he saw in a movie (F&F3)?

Sorry to hear about the accident..
