my wing is fading and looks horrible do you think spraying the winG with some clear coat would help?

 

+1. the same thing is happening to my wing, but it's not too bad yet, does anyone have any advice. I really dont want to spend the $$ to get a new wing either.

 

first try to get it replaced if you don't mind having plastice sides instead off the carbon.

most people prep it, sand the old yellow clear coat off and have the a body shop shoot it with a couple of coats of clear for like 50-100.

Zeus1 could you post pics of your spoiler? My spoiler was peeling also. I'm wingless for the time being.

 

Mitsu is aware of the deffect. It is going to happen to all of the stock spoilers. The replace ment for the Evo 8 will be out in july and is supposed to retain the carbon sides. Also it will be covered under warranty as it is a manufacturer deffect. Or you could swing the $700.00 dollars and get an apr wing. It will fit the stock mounting holes, but that is only if you like that look.

 

does any one want to sell me there evo spoilers that are fading? I want an all carbon one......pm me if you wangt to sell....
