A couple newbie friends of mine think that they can take my buddies 06 IX MR when they get thier SR20 swap into thier 240s.
I don't know much about that swap, but I know they are talking about JUST the swap and not any other mods.

What do you guys think?

Thats exactly what I said, but I don't know much about the SR20 swap, so i didnt wanna come in here being like they are SO STUPID then look like an *** cause I was wrong

 

i have a 240 with a sr20 swap... Unless hes upgraded turbo he has no chance even with bolt ons vs a stock 9! Trust me i know... i have full bolt ons with my 240 and it cant run with the stock 9's

 

My buddy just got a sr20 swap in a 240 and there is no chance it can keep up w/ my evo. Evo is the superior machine by far.

 

That's what I said, again, even with mods I dont think they would. But not only do they think it can "compete" they think they can "crush" him.

 

my friend's Evo VIII pulled my other friend's stock sr20

i have a soft spot for 240sx w/ sr20's though....so hawt..

 

tru i love the 240!!! Serious drift machine and can be beasts with thier light weight... if they upgrade the turbo with supporting mods!

 

i used to have a sr20 in my 240 now my friend has one with a t-28 off an s-15 silvia and i walked away from him in my stock IX like i was playing with a civic it was ridiculous. now if you were going from a roll with one that had lets say a gt28rs (disco potatoe) you would be in some trouble

 

I know a guy with a newer round body 240 with SR20 swap and is doing 13.3 in a 1/4. I don't know what else is done like if he upgraded a turbo or not...Also if your friend in the Evo can't drive then he will lose...
