Yea, see if it turns off after 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, etc. Sounds like a turbo timer.

If it stays on how long does it take to turn it off? Do you have to take the key in and out to turn it off or does it turn off by itself? Is the ignition harness under the streering column to the right plugged into anything?

If the turbo timer was hooked up correctly you should be able to pull ebrake up then take out key then release the ebrake and your turbo timer should shut your car off, this is an anti theft feature.

If you can find that Turbo timer, most have an "off" button that will turn it off permanently. Others you just hold a button down and it will shut off just for that moment.

Generally the lowest time is like 30 secs if it's on, the max like 10 minutes.

The Ebrake thing should work as mentioned. It's a fail safe in case you have the TT running and someone jumps into your car and tries to take off.

If not, trace back for a grey wire from the unit and that should go to the Ebrake wire. (a ground wire).
