Granted, some dealers are obviously willing to haggle on price, but if you add on a couple of the handling options yer lookin over $25k no matter how good you are at haggling.

You always go by MSRP? We're talking about the price of the car only. I don't see people on here talking about the EVO 7 w/options. Besides, the only factory options you have are the Peg 2, wing, turbo gauge, and short shifter. These are dock-installed options which already come stickered. Don't talk about dealer installed options...because if that's the case, you cannot give a true estimate on any car on the market, period. Even with a fully loaded (dock installed options) WRX, you should be able to haggle down more than $1500 off the sticker.
Aside from that, I've personally dealt with several Subaru dealerships trying to purchase a WRX. In the last two years, I've gone through 4 different cars. So I know what dealerships can do or won't do about their pricing. As stated earlier, if your paying well over $25K with those so-called options...you're paying way too much.
P.S. You do know the suspension upgrade Subaru offers cancels your warranty for those specific components your replacing? Besides, you can get the STI suspension set-up for much less than what the dealer is offering.

There shouldn't be any dealer mark-up. If there's a dealer marking them up...take your business elsewhere. Because most dealerships are more than willing to haggle with you on the price of the car. However, no dealership will deny you from paying MSRP...so it's how you approach it.
