traction on evo 9

traction on evo 9

yo wat up guys im new to this forum i just purchase my evo 9 2 weeks ago and im having problems on how to remove the traction. i am not able to launch the car due to boging on the traction control. i know there is a plug i need to remove can any one please help me.

Your car doesn't have traction control, the reason your bogging is becasue you don't know how to drive.

AYC hasn't been introduced into the us market and it has nothing to do with straightline traction is for lateral control around corners.

The plug you are looking for is to dissable the standing rev limiter, learn to slip the clutch during the launch so you can leave off the limiter in boost.

traction control??? we call it "All Wheel Drive"

but seriously, its tough to adjust to AWD launches if you are used to 2WD cars, just gotta practice slipping the clutch

Driving lessons wont help him learn how to launch his car, he's going to have to do it on his own and get the feel for it. The only thing he'll be blowing is his 1st gear, transfer case and possibly the clutch

I cant seem to drift my car sideways, where is the switch to turn off stability management? In gran turismo the Evo has one!
