Will my RnR 3" down pipe bolt to stock Cat?
Well its time for my state inspection and emissons and i have a RnR 3" TBE (with test pipe). I dont want to take off the whole exhaust and put it back on a day or two later so I would like to just take off the RnR test pipe and cat back and throw the factory unit back on.
Do you guys think the factory cat will bolt up to the down pipe?
Also I have cams and custom tune from shiv, If I throw the factory exhaust back on will that cause any problems?

now that I have the exhaust off, I put the cat up to the down pipe and I dont think its gonna work, So I guess I will have to put the factory downpipe on also.
I just hope the factory downpipe fits the 3" O2 housing I have on there
what a hassle
PS. Is there any one is charlotte that can hook me up with state inspection and emissions?

okay... so i tried it and it does not work... the 02 housing is to big for the factory downpipe. What really sucks is that when I installed the 02 housing i cross threaded a bolt so there is no way in hell I will be able to get it off with out breaking that bolt.
My other option is to get a high flow cat with a flange on one end that meets up to the 3" down pipe and the other end that has a flange that will bolt up to the factory mid pipe
oh why oh why did I modify this stupid car
