Keep evo stock and get a project car?

Kind of a dilema, I just picked up a used 04 ssl with 15k miles on it and opted for the extended warranty. Right now the evo is my daily driver but that will change eventually. Should I get like a kia or some **** for my daily driver and mod the evo or should I keep the evo stock for my dd and get a 3rd gen rx7 for my project car.

its a 2004 and it has ssl package, It just doesnt have the ssl special rims that I think came out 2005 or 2006. I bought my evo from brad benson dealership which has a special partnership with turbotrix. I think I can take my evo as high as turbo trix stage 3 package and still be covered under warranty as long as I buy the package from the dealership. I think Im gonna keep the evo stock and make the 7 the garage queen

I have an SSL 04.....

The SSL was the same for all evos 04-06. The SE will have the MR BBS wheels, which is what I think your thinking....No special wheels were ever optioned on the ssl.

Sun, Sound, Leather....

the evo responds well to little mods and has a very stout bottom end. RX7s cost a lot of money to mod and they like to blow up. I think the choice is eazy

sounds like you already have decided to keep the Evo stock. Everyone needs one reliable car so make sure you don't start moding both rides... or you'll be broke and walking everywhere.

Evo is faster then a stock swapped sr20 240. I have owned 2 swapped s14's,a nd 1 bolt on with alot of nitrous ka24de. they are fun, but if you really want somethign fun just put an ls1 in a s14.(95-98 240sx) and you will have a 300whp stock ls1, in a 2800 pound car. Ls1 since its aluminum actually weighs less then the cast iron ka24de, and stock the car will be good for high 11's. With bolt ons, and a cam easy 10's. I was very close to doing this, but have decided to get an evo because its just so nice, and i almost think its in a different league. Damn evos are a blast to drive!
