Their new stage 2, which is a single disk cerametallic 4-puck sprung disk along with their 3010lb pressure plate and chromoly flywheel. I also have their Carbon Twin in the garage, but I haven't needed to take out the 4-puck, because I like it so much. I've never had a clutch that could powershift like this so effortlessly and reliably. The only downside is the grabbiness in 1st/reverse when going from a stop - worth it to me for the performance, though.
You can get it for $950 shipped from Total D, a registered EvoM vendor...

Very nice cover shot Warr.
Sorry about the paint job and air filter.
I've driven my Evo in sand before. It did great.... until the beach patrol showed up and i bailed with a swiftness.

Hah, thanks Al. This is just a testament to what the Evo can do when you use the right parts. The day this photo was taken, I drove an hour to the track early in the morning to sign up and register. However, I didn't just register for the rallycross, but I also went half a mile down the road to the main facility to register for that days DRAG RACING. The drag lanes opened up before the rallycross, so I slapped down 3 straight low 12s hotlapped before heading over to the rallycross. I then ran the morning's heat on my same high performance summer tires (Falken RT-615). After my work session ended, I promptly packed my stuff up and drove BACK to the drag strip. Since the car was covered in dirt from head to toe, I had to then hose it off (luckily, there were hoses with free water), then when still not completely dry, I ran a few more low 12s with people looking at me like I was an alien. After that, I went back for the afternoon session and did even better (first time at rallycross). When that was over, I still had an hour left of drag racing, so I packed up, drove down the road, unpacked, hosed down, then hit the staging lanes. I ran two more low 12s, then packed up and drove an hour home without the Evo blinking an eye.
I was confident that with my Exedy clutch combined with Forge, Buschur, and GSC products, I could race the hell out of the car all day in the dirt and on the tarmac with no worries. The result was a magazine cover...
