Uhh, you do realize that the pictures were taken at Mitsubishi Motors USA headquarters? They have Evos all the time in the lot. GlobeCLK and Coolguy have taken many pictures before of Evos in the parking lot. Heck, there was even an Evo VI in the parking lot, the one that the magazines tested a few years back I think.

Pixellation looks like a resized image compressed with JPEG compression, which is particularly bad at high contrast sharp lines, like the lines at the edge of the spoiler. Also, the shadows alone would have taken forever to get so perfect (nothing out of place I could see) and having so many different angles of the same cars edited to be the same would be an incredible undertaking. I find it hard to believe anyone would find doctoring these images to be a worthwhile use of time when it's not exactly an unbelievable thing to see a few Evos parked next to each other.

Trust me, I DON'T have the time to chop so many car pics

They are pixely when you look at it enlarged because this is the internet, with pics taken with a 2.0 megapixel digicam. I have yet to find a picture on the internet that isn't composed with pixels when enlarged

All those cars belong to employees. They are not there to attract customers, so they don't really need to keep everything in line and clean. I guess someone is going to replace wheels on lunch break or something.

Check my previous threads. I have numerous threads about pics I take at MMSA. What's the point of chopping all these pics when I can just simply take them?

enjoy guys. More to come next week.

I'm going to respectfully disagree w/ the majority here, but I like the low spoiler a lot better, especially on silver or blue.....yes it looks like the oz, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. The big spoiler on a 4 door sedan just seems a little out of place IMHO.

Does the rear view angle remind anybody of the previous gen honda accord coupe w/ those slanted angles? just an observation...

The problem with the high spoiler for me is I can't see stuff behind me through it. I'm a little above average height, but am good friends with another member on this site who is a good 6 inches shorter than me and neither one of us gets good vis out the back because of the spoiler. I don't think it looks bad from the outside, but the amount of downforce it may be providing us on our drives to/from work, at the autocross, on the highway, or even in spirited driving down the twisties (for those lucky enough to have windy roads in their area) isn't worth the blocked view in my opinion.

Just an opinion though. I still don't think the other spoiler looks very good on the Evo, but I bet you can see the troopers behind you with it.

I think the low spoiler makes the Evo look alot like the normal Lancers. Even with the different bumpers, lights, wheels, fenders, without the big spoiler makes it all weird.
Good Job CLK!!!! Thanks for all the pix!!!! Keep up the good work!!

Good pics CLK!

Though my initial impression is that don't like the looks of the low wing, I'm sure some of the older members will appreciate it's "under the radar" attributes.

To me it looks a bit like an underdeveloped appendage....kinda like a thalidomide Evo.

SC~

Shave the trunk emblems and the wing. Put ES in the lower right corner and black out the tail lights........

Sleeper extrodinaire....... One kick *** expression on a WRX owners face when you smoke him....

I can vouch for this one since I've been there so many times too. In the middle of the complex there's some type of test lab for their cars. I've seen an Evo 6.5 there jacked up with a wheel missing. It's not a sales lot. It's just a parking lot for the MMSA HQ. Towards the back is the parts warehouse and the test lab is right in the middle of the complex.
