Hey guys, just wanted to know if im getting a greddy type s blow off valve for a good price. This guy is selling me his for $75 he had it for like 2 years. How long do bov's usually last? what should i look for in used bov's? Thanks!

In the Type S take it apart and check the rubber diaphram inside. Make sure there are no rips or worn through spots. That diaphram cost about $80.

i had a very weird problem with my greddy type S BOV (recirc)...it caused very erattic idle, however it wasn't the typical constant stumbling idle, but at random times the car would just start jumping, and sometimes even stall. it was installed when i bought the car. Went back to the stock BOV and all of my problems cleared up.
