Yeah, so he lived. But it doesn't mean that the majority of Evo crashes aren't preventable with a little bit of responsibility.

probably could've been prevented if you maintained your car better by replacing those bald rear tires. such a nice car wasted. sorry for being a bit blunt, but it's true...

Gald your ok. The car looks f*cked, it should be totalled. Just so you know it isn't a good idea on a AWD car to have two new tires and two worn tires. You want them to be the same all around or it can become expensive.

This is a shame. Every day on here it seems there is another posting of a wrecked car. No wonder the insurance rates keep climbing. I don't remember DSM's being wrecked in these numbers.

Car is definitely totaled. The frame of the car seems to be twisted out of shape. The car hit 3 palm trees on three different sides. Sorry for the loss and I'm glad your ok.

well atleast you didnt flip yours man. i was being stupid two years ago and flipped mine. did 22,000 dollars worth of damage. my insurance didnt want to total it. we argued did no good so they just fixed. runs fine though, i cant complain. i waited 6 months for it to get fixed. but i took it to the track and ran a 13.8 so it runs fine. once you get past you wrecked your evo, you will start to realize its just a car, and it can happen in any car. sorry it happened man. but the important thing is you are alright.

Glad you are OK.

If you're coming from non AWD car to handling machine like an EVO. It will give confidence but if you lose control it's that much harder to get back in control.

Know your car know your limits.

Dam people you need to slow down, Evo's are good handling cars but they are fallable to the natures of physics. If people keep thinking and driving like they are Michael Schumacher the insurance rates with sky rocket. So slow down and practice your skills in a closed course.
