Unhappy Yeah last night was not good at all....

YEah , you guys wil never guess what happened last night. I was behind this old pick up truck with furniture on it well to keep it short the chairs ottman flew of and went under neath my car and tore up the bumper, intercoller, dented the wheel, busted the shock, and crack my oil filter open. Luckily i pulled right over after it happen. Such a pain this is but thats why we pay for insurance.

I need a good deal on carbon lip, factory bumper. Everything else is fixable. Sorry no pics but nothing i ever want to see again. Help needed.

Thanks

Jason

It's too bad that happened to you bro. Now you have an excuse to get a evo 9 bumper.

That sucks! Why do you have to look for deals, isn't the other cars insurance covering all the damage?

he pulled over then kept driving, but my insurance is covering everything, replacing the intercooler, front bumper, and wheel so all is not bad. You know **** happens.

wow, sorry to hear that man. Hopefully his insurance will take care of it.

I usually switch lanes when I behind things like that, or dump trucks, gravel/dirt trucks and SUVs/ pickup trucks with lift kits for possible slinging of rocks.

gluck on the repairs.

Dude that blows. I saw a truck being pulled over on 280 the other day because it had a bunch of isht piled up on it that didn't look like it was tied down too good. I wish the cops had gotten to your guy first.

Well, theoretically yes. BUT i mean when furniture becomes detatched their Cd is such that they tend to decelerate rather quick and more importantly, in unpredictable directions. What I saw (different case from the OP, but similar) the cars behind parted like the proverbial sea but the volvo just couldn't get out of the way.

Anyway, if he was really that close, he would have probably caught it mid-flight and on the bonnet (hood).
