Buying seats that are no-name brand from ebay = Scary Idea
They could break at a very bad time.. Dont try to go cheap on this one

If you dont mind not having an sfi rating then i guess go for it....but dont expect to do any "legal racing" with a non tested/certified seat.....and in the event of an accident.....you can't really trust a non sfi seat because it hasnt gone through the testing that a recaro would have.....

Seats are a safety item.....if they are made incorrectly they can break in an accident.....that is the reason I run Recaro SPG fiberglass......750 a seat, but well worth the peace of mind knowing that I have a proven tested part and not something that was made w/ cheap being the main concern

you could always go for the jic seats...a little more expensive but they also sell the appropriate brackets for the evo and weigh around 16lbs.

You get what you pay for. Buy some ghetto *** seats and they will fall apart on you prematurely guaranteed.

damn.... good thing my butt is too big to fit in any of those seats.... i tried sitting in one of those brides.. and the side bolsters were too tite... the stock fits me quite well... but yeah.. my friend actually bought a seat off of ebay. it was also "carbon fiber" shelled. but then again hes had it for about a year and its still ok... looks fine and feels somewhat comfy according to him... hes about 160 pounds.
