uh oh... you're going to get flammed.... but first off, there's a restrictor pill in your clutch line that delays the engagement so 98% chance that every launch you try is going to burn the clutch... your best bet if you MUST is to remove that pill and replace the whole line with a SS clutchline then try, but be careful because you're going to destroy your transfercase if you screw up at that point. The pill is there to protect the TC by killing your clutch...

it does'nt really have anything to do with the flash... Usually people take it out when they change their clutch or when they change to a SS clutchline...

No, kiko, you do not launch at 4.5k. Miss Rose, come on now, we had 2 threads on this recently and a few hundred over the last 2 years. Look in the drag racing section!

There was just a thread on this that has some good advice.

Just remember, if you want to LEARN how to launch right, just expect for your clutch to pay for it.

I run the pill with my aftermarket clutch. Wonder if it still has the same effect

Dsmfan, take that durn restrictor out. It doesn't necessarily keep you from launching, but it definitely delays the reaction of the clutch when shifting fast. Can't believe you kept that sucker in there during the clutch install, haha.

do a search...warrtalon illustrated this pretty in depth with even a video...slip slightly <5k rev limiter then launch.

The pill in the slave cylinder that causes slow clutch reaction has nothing to do with the ECU, which controls the launch control.
