How too launch???
IF somebody can link mee to the How to Launch Thread i would appreciate it.. but anyway..i cant seem too launch my EVO!! i havent got a flash soo im stuck with the 5k Limit
But tell me if im doing it right!! im holding the pedal too the floor..then i let my clutch out just little untill i feel it starting to grab then I let off as fast as i can without just Letting Loose. or just dumping the clutch..but my RPM'S drop almost 3.5rpm iz it becuz im launching wrong or just not high enough ive searched and found 5800-6000 is the best bet tooo launch at but thats out of the question...but are you even able too get a good launch at 5k??????? please dont FLAME meee!! Suggestions would be appreciated
uh oh... you're going to get flammed.... but first off, there's a restrictor pill in your clutch line that delays the engagement so 98% chance that every launch you try is going to burn the clutch... your best bet if you MUST is to remove that pill and replace the whole line with a SS clutchline then try, but be careful because you're going to destroy your transfercase if you screw up at that point. The pill is there to protect the TC by killing your clutch...

Dsmfan, take that durn restrictor out. It doesn't necessarily keep you from launching, but it definitely delays the reaction of the clutch when shifting fast. Can't believe you kept that sucker in there during the clutch install, haha.
