I've had the car for a year and I have never used it. Not once. Don't even know if it works. But it's getting really hot here in the Northeast, so I may have to break bown one of these days.

I run with it on when its hot outside (like right now), all the time. Never once had a problem except with the noticable loss of power.

one some really hot days i do run it all day, I can notice the gas depleating much quicker.

on another note. I can't seem to drive it smooth with AC on though, i'm just not used to reving up over 1000rpm when start in first gear. I keep doing the same thing to move with the AC on, which is just blip the thottle little so it stays 800~1000rpm and release the clutch. That ends up with jerky motion when starting with AC on.

I use it all the time when its hot or humid. I just turn it off it I need to accelerate fast because it sucks too much power.

With the recent record-breaking heat-wave here in socal (for more info, visit http://www.cnn.com/2006/WEATHER/07/2....ap/index.html), I've had to have my A/C on ALL THE TIME

Normally though, I've seldom used the a/c--only usually whenever i have to use freeways

A lot of people run their AC all day and don't even know it. They're the ones that put the heater control on defrost and leave it there.

I use it all the time when my kids are in the car with me. It sucks though. It's harder to drive when the AC is on also. Seems like the rpm drops much faster and the clutch engagment changes if the AC is on. I well at least the kids are cool and calm.
