Not exactly. You tried to pick a fight and got grounded in the fact that your participatory mode isn't relevant.

It's not even the first time. A shift knob is a shift knob. It doesn't matter if it's on an Evo or a crx, they get hot and people are trying to find solutions.

what do you mean you cant get a leather gear knob for the 6 speed?

australian (and im guessing japanese) come standard with a leather gearknob with the 6 shift pattern written at the top

Mine gets effin hot too! I just shift using the plastic thing that you have to pull up to get into reverse until it cools down.
