Blah, you should spend your money $15 at a time practicing launching and not on some jerry rigged box designed to destroy your transfercase. Have TRE or ShepTrans on speed dial. You will break your **** fast.

Ricer mod IMHO if you are not in mid 11's or faster.

Please share how. My boss has a 700+whp MR2 with a GT40 and builds 22psi at launch with his motec launch control.

Your boss has a 2wd vehicle that will break loose, not just break like an AWD.

I was building 11psi a t 5500 instead of having to rev it to 6300 as I was doing previously. So for the amount I want, I have actually decreased stress on drivetrain. I am thinking by your comments you werent directly talking to me, but I wanted to enlighten the results.

Dude said the car launches at 5200 rpm. I have seen him launch. I could practice until I fry every triple plate clutch out there trying to launch like this car. He did say they shattered a diff during the development but because the from tires came off the ground. Couldn't handle the stress when they landed. Anyway, I have found someone to cover for me at work so we will so see.

My comment wasnt in regard to what you said about AWD breaking as I agree. I was asking how they are getting 20psi launches using ecuflash.

You will not be able to get 20psi on just a ecuflash. You need some kind of external ignition control to retard timing.

Launch control is now on and holy sh*t is right. I have a gt35r and out of the hole with even the 11 psi I get from the Exede I have felt until I get online at peak boost it's almost a let down. NOT NOW! This thing rocks. My turbo spools up to 18 psi on the launch the goes right to 24 psi. I have to put my head against the seat just to launch. I'm getting video either today or tomorrow and I'll post but man o man...

I was thinking the same damn thing!!!

I can't wait to see the video and wait for the following "Best places to rebuild my TC?"

Launching from a dead stop with 20+ PSI cannot be good fro driveline parts, must be fun though.

No offense but if it is only an electrical box it cant do anything more than what anyone with a standalone can already do

All the thing does is retard the timing it sounds like. Id bet I could open my wastegate at the launch at 35psi if I really really tried to.

This thing is awesome. I did a launch comparison with a friend of mine that has a stage 3 SRT4 with some additional mods...by the time I rounded out 2nd gear it was over. He told me after the launch and he pulled through 2nd, he let out. We were at 60mph with about 4 freak'in lincolns between us. I'm gonna video a launch against an IX in the AM so I'll post it after work in the PM.
Oh, I pushed hard for details because of everyones concern for my driveline and all he told me was that it's on a half a dozen cars now and no one has lost a TC yet. That it does adjust timing but has somethings different that has not been done before. Who knows? And dude told me he is running high 9's in the 1/4th and never had any problems though did note he has the Sheptrans transmission upgrade and TC with mitsu diff.

I hope you are not bragging about outlaunching an SRT4. You should be embarassed, those cars 60' about a 2.1.

Take it to the track if you want to test it.
