Yep. 2 weeks ago. Same damn spot I got pulled in the Z06 a year ago. 56 in a 35 and no seat belt. $157 in fines.
I was also not paying attention like an idiot. Not even trying to speed. Just spaced out after a long day at work.

If it makes you feel any better, I got one for doing 80 in a 45, unfortunately, I don't have an evo though. 35 over the limit was $175 and loss of liscence for 15 days
Stupid of me but this dude was tailing me, I got pissed and blew away from him. Wouldn't you know an ociffer was not far behind.

i got a ticket last weekend on my OZ..it sucked lol. it was right after our club's meet and i was syked about cars and was going kinda fast..59 on 40 mile road. fine is $105 and going to traffic school..but i have a question for some of u.
Illinois lets u take the traffic school online and i was wondering if i could take this internet thing AT HOME or if i had to go to one of the locations to take it..if anyone knows id be happy cause their damn office is only opened from 9 am to 3:30pm and i come home around 3:30pm from school

Lets see........ 2 years ago I was goign 77 in a 50 zone........ $495. You guys are lucky with the smaller fines. Luckily I went to court and got it lowered to $271. I got a ticket for tint about 5 years ago and it was $104....no fix-it ticket.

You guys need to learn to talk yourselves out of tickets. Not only does it save you loads of money but it's pretty fun too. Last time I got pulled over it was for 73 in a 40 by a county sheriff. I talked him into a verbal warning only. Thats the biggest I've been able to talk my way out of. Of course YMMV.

yeah I feel like a putz too...105 in a 65...i got it on saturday coming home from the, don't laugh, nascar busch race (i had free tix and nothing to do). I was on the new section of the 210 fwy and he came up from an onramp. He wouldn't be talked out of it. I swear on my mother's grave I was doing 90, which is bad enough, but the guy wanted to rub it in i guess. He probably thought that i was some FNF kid that he wanted to teach a lesson. on surface streets i drive like my grandmother, at or below the limit, but on freeways it's so easy to speed, and with no cruise control I think there will be a few more freeway tickets for evo owners on the way.

wow! all this ticket talk! what can you do if the officer claims you were doing a higher speed then you actually were? theres no way you can defend yourself is there? i mean hes a cop with a radar gun...and youre in a brand new EVO 8 doing 90 but he gives you a ticket for 105. what can you do?
