No nose masks for Evo IX's?

I went to the local Mitsu dealer yesterday to pick up a nose mask for my IX, but according to the parts dept, Mitsu has not released one yet. Is this true?

I do not want the 3M clear bra thing.

Why don't you want the clear-bra? Dirt and debris get's trapped underneath a nose mask and can scratch up the paint pretty bad

If not you could always try one of those automotive bra places that advertise in the back of car magazines. Can't think of the name off-hand

You should get a clear bra (unless you have a white car). Its a great product and Im pleased with mine. On a white car though, It tunes yellow.

Also, I bet the VIII has too big of IC hole and covers up the two "nostrils"

You don't want to use those nose masks on your evo as dirt and sand will get under it and start rubbing against your paint every second the engine is running.

I've had a sport hood bra on my M3 for 79k and not one scratch. As long as you wash your car and wax it once in a while you will be fine.

Get a clear bra. Forget the classic leather bra thing. The sun will fade the rest of the paint and then youll have a very distintive line going across your hood. I have a white MR with 3M's newest material and have no yellowing either. My bro has the same on his Grey car and you cant even see it.
