Are they all the same fluid??
Looking to replace my IX 5 speed's transaxle/tranny fluid...

Will buy OEM fluid... but it only comes in 5 gallons or something....

I've tried...
Redline MT-90
Amsoil GL-4 fluid
Pennzoil Syncromesh

Also, anyone know the spec of the BG Syncroshift II fluid?
I know RRE recommends them... but no where to find the spec...

BG's homepage is useless...

Where can I find the spec on BG SynII?
I want to compare spec with Redline & Amsoil.....

Ya.. I didnt like Penn also... I got gear grinds with Penn...
(while Amsoil didn't... on the same car)

How was the REDLINE MT90? Was synchro working alright? Some synchro likes a little friction by design. Synthetic is not always better when it comes to gear oils.... especially the manual LSDs... You gotta follow the factory spec....
My car is not due for gear oil change but I am thinking about doing it when it has 10000 miles.....

Only for the tranny, not the transfer case!
