I recently got into a little accident with the IX.. I messed up the front bumper and I can get a aftermarket one for cheaper than a new one. Insurance is payin so let me know soem ideas. Im thinkin of getting to C-west front bumper. How is the fitment on it and how long will i have to wait to get it?? IF anybody has any ideas please let me know.

Yeah but i can get a complete stock one for around 1000 bucks brand new and i can get a C-west for 800?? Why go stock when i can get a Cwest for less?

 

I still like the HKS Kansai and the Monster sport bumpers the best. The Apexi isn't bad either.

 

Havent seen pics of either but I am just trying to get a nice looking bumper that is cheaper than getting a new stock one.

you will regret when you have gone all out with matching sides and rear kit, its not an EVO anymore.

 

ok i got 3k to replace a complete front bumper..intercooler....ac line at bottom of radiator support...hood needs lined up...hood latch is bent forward. and a downpipe. so why not save a couple hundred bucks and get a aftermarket bumper.... im not gonna follow my bumper with side skirts and a rear bumper. Im trying to be smart and be a little on the cheaper side.

 

What about the Evo 7 bumper with a nice lip?

 

$800 plus paint will cost as much as OEM bumper... try to look around and see if anyone is selling an oem IX bumper for cheap.

 

Nice but if I don't go aftermarket I will go back to oem...Prolly only way I will go back to oem is if i can find someone trying to sell a bumper.... I kinda think it is stupid to pay 725 for a new IX bumper 150 for the mesh grill and 250 for a oem front lip.. when i can get a complete aftermarket for 800 or 900

 

Oem bumpers dont come painted tho do they?

 

I thought I saw an vendor in here sell the IX front bumper w/ paint for around $700-800

but yeah... look in the classified and ask around and see if anyone is selling one for cheap.

 

well i called mitsu and they told me they came unpainted.. Either or I work next to a body shop and they guys told me they would hook me up for some side $.. they are kool guys.. i work on their cars for them sometimes so im not worried about gettin anything painted, i just gotta pay for the paint.
