evo owners you must see this!

I just wanted to let everyone know what you can do as an added security benefit so your car stays where you parked it. by removing this front fuse located in the box below this will imobilize your vehicle starter.

Dude, is there one for the fuse panel in the car? I don't want to have to pop my hood everytime.

I would like to know how this would stop them from using a flat bed tow truck.

Ill post the same thing here I posted on my other forum. Most theives dont use flatbeds for lower end cars such as evos and cobras and the such. I know it happens, and we hear about it and get worried about it. The truth of the matter is that flatbeds are expensive, and have to comply with quite a few different DOT liscenes and different regestrations, just because of their ability to steal cars. People towing with flatbeds are going after high end sports and luxuary vehicles. Evos are lower end japanese cars, Im sure there not much more difficult to steal than a honda. Now for complete covereage at night (when your car has the largest chance of being stolen. If you are this **** retentive, or live in a seedy area, or dont have full coverage then just yank your ECU (car isnt driving) and put a wheel clamp on one of your wheels. That will keep them from towing. Wheel clamps are about 500 if I am not mistaken. Also, get a sick alarm setup with a remote located backup battery. The only way to take that out is with a stun gun to the frame of the car. If someone Is going through that much trouble to get an evo, then they have some serious issues, im sure theres a much more easily stolen and parted honda elsewhere.

nice thought, but it won't matter if they slap it on a flatbed, or drag it away behind Jethro's Dodge...

I believe you've removed a relay and not a fuse. Just a technicality, I know it doesn't change the results.
