Where did you install your Blitz SBC?

Hi everyone! I've been trying to install my blitz icolor ebc and after searching numerous threads and forums, i have been unable to find enough information to complete this install. I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge or experience they can share on how they mounted their stock solenoid and their blitz sbc. Pictures would be a plus!

I installed mine on my steering column using an Apex'i Bracket that normally comes w/ a SAFC/VAFC etc.I bought it for the SBC and damn it if dosen't look like its made for it.

Perfect spot and View. You can buy the Apex'i stand by itself for like $12.
SBC ID is awesome!

MrFairlady,
That's a great way to mount it, but I was curious as to how you mounted the solenoid in the engine bay.(the black box, if you have a type-r solenoid)

oh....well I have the HKS RS intake and you have to remove the GOLD Airbox Bracket...and when you do..right under the intake cone (on my HKS RS) are the 1 hole left over from where the bracket mounts to the body of the car on the side of the lower engine bay.

I mounted the solenoid using that hole and the screw that came out of that hole and its perfect.Water dosen't really get up there nor does heat.So its perfect.

You can run the wires/hoses right to the wastegate from there Perfectly.

Can't you just find a big enough spot for that? I remember back then I used to have an MR2 and got an Dual EBC and I just mount the black box to any place that have enough room for it. I was thinking of going with that too but it just cost too much so I decided to go with MBC instead
