looks good. i also did my climate control lights. In case you were toying with the idea do attempt it with the sports meter if you have it. For some reason it doesnt work properly and it actually discolors your lens.

fyi, i think the nakamichi cd players (cd-40/40z) emit the identical amber from the defi / stock gauges. lots of itr guys use it for that fact

Ok first off i love that alpine deck, i got it right after they discontinued it here in sioux city for only $400.00.

Second as far as the clock being red i followed this HOW TO (dont worry about the WRX STi part

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ighlight=clock

except i didnt use a Red CD case (couldnt find one) you can either find a pair of 3D glasses and take out the red lens or do what i did go to a hobby store (i went to Hobby lobby) and buy some Red transparent shrink wrap for gift baskets (cost me $4.00) and then cut it to fit inside the clock radio. I used two pieces to make a dark red. pictures included

Oh also i got my paint pens from my local Menards hardware store. you could go to Ace hardware, Bomgars, any big hardware store. I didnt get the ones that he has a picture of in the HOW TO, i couldnt find that brand.
I got the ones in the picture below (Super Met-al, Industrial grade pump action Paint Marker). ( 1 RED, 1 YELLOW), but i am sure any paint markers would work as long as they were PAINT markers and permanate not temperary.

finally got a chance to do mine. i just did my HVAC since i couldn't find the red celophane. well i did find the celophance, but it was like $3.99 for a huge roll (like christmas wrapper), cause i just want a little piece. anyways i did what peterg did and used the decocolor one, but i used orange. the orange matches perfect and i only had to get one marker. i applied it everywhere except for the base. works like a charm.

i kno i sound like a cheapskate, but i'd rather use that other $$$ for bigger evo upgrades!!
