Why to keep your Spare In your evo!

so to start it all out i live in colorado... one of the best tuners i know lives in wyoming only about an hour away. So i get some mods done drive up get my tune done and its amazing. Well me being a Noob! didnt get the ARP studs like i should have and i stretched the stockers blowing my HG o well so i leave it thier. Head up tonight truck and trailer to bring it back get it all on and good druising home and Boom Trailer tire goes out.

im stuck in the middle of colorado and wyoming in the middle of No where pull out the evo spare and sure enough it fits the Trailer so it all go on clean and i cruise home at a snail pace but im home!

Glad it worked out for you. Out of curiosity, what mods do you have. I'm about to install cams, cam gears and fuel pump and people seem to be split on whether or not I should replace the head studs.

Same thing happened to me. (kinda)
Driving home from this years Shoot Out with the NEDSM gang, someone lost a trailer tire. I was the ONLY one out of all of us with a spare.

yeah funny thing is the few people i was with were like well u dont have a spare right? i was like heck yes i do! but its a weird bolt pattern and a 17" didnt matter hahahah

I have about every bolt on possible except a new turbo and was on a 110 oct map i would HIGHLY recomend the new studs. But me being the way i am i cannot reccomend the 1X1 method unless u have a shop that has done a ton with sucess then its ur call. If i could do it all over again i would have done them i think done correctly... heat cycled retoqued etc they are one of the more important maods if u plan to make power.

Saves u money and time in the long run haha now the car will b out for about 3 or 4 days but eh what cha gonna do gotta pay to play!
