First off what kind of temp 'C or 'F? Depending on mods you should see your hottest point under full load (boost) 5-6000 rpm, Especialy in 5th gear (4500-5500 rpm) 900 'C (1652'F) is where your EGT's will go depending on exhaust and cam mods . MAKE SURE you buy a gauge with a warning LED so you can watch it! best of luck!!!!

Some are 1800F* others are 2000F*(I can't decipher Celsius). You may want to consider a digital EGT gauge with peak hold capability. The resolution on the analog gauges leaves a lot to be desired. You need the ability to monitor EGT's with exactitude, and when glancing at a rapidly rising pointer it's hard to be sure if I'm seeing 1523*F or 1541*F with the analog gauges that I've had. I think digital is more precise.

If, however, you do get analog then go with a gauge that has an adjustable telltale light, as was already mentioned, and peak-hold/recall capability.
