AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! NO DL OR INS??? What did the COP have to say about that?? In that scenario you follow the person home, so you can wait outside for them and do some hannibal lecter typ $h!t to them. I'm thinking something like the sin "sloth" from the movie 7!!!

Go see a doctor whether you have feelings of whiplash or not. Without DL or Insurance your insurance will not be abe to sue his insurance so you'd better pray he has some money or assets (which he probably won't). Best of luck.

Most likely, your insurance company willhave to pay for all the damages to your car, and 99% of the lawyers and insurance people you will talk to will advise you to not take it to court. Dont ya love the court systems???

Glad to see no one was hurt and the damage is minimal. Good luck man.
I agree. My father got rear ended in Denver Colorado by a guy with no insurance and no DL, cop came gave him a ticket and let the guy go. Cop said forget about getting him to pay for it, the guy was broke driving a beatup honda. BTW he had no green card either. Cop said don't waste yer time. Pay the detuctibe and get on with it.

This is why we carry insurance for uninsured motorists.

Is the quarter panel bent above the taillight? I thought the body line on the side continued uninterrupted all the way back.

I feel your pain, got rearended a couple months back, the guy had no DL, it wasn't his truck, he could barely speak english (mexican), and was working for a land scaping co. when it happened. The owner of the co. said he was borrowing the truck
and didn't want to give me his insurance or tell me who owned the truck. Right now my insurance is trying to find out who the truck owner is and if they have insurance. The estimate was $1400 to fix my car...funny thing is you barely tell my car was hit.
All the damage was underneath the outer bumper cover.
to fix my car.

Man that sucks. The same thing happened to my gf... uninsured driver rear ended her brand new 2 week old car! Her insurance covered the damage and then sued him in court for the money. Basically, it's best to try and focus on the future. As long as your ok, the rest can be fixed.

Good luck,

Mark

Ouch! It is not surprising and most fender benders are going to be rear enders I'll bet. The EVO's superior brakes make 99% of the cars following you equal to a fully loaded 18 wheeler relative to braking distance! Guess I'd rather get smacked in the rear (of the car) than take out the intercooler and plumbing with a front crash.

This really stinks...hold on the phone is ringing...

It's the trailer park their trash is missing and he is driving around without a drivers license or insurance....

I know it really sucks but try to look at the bright side and you probably think there isn't a bright side right about now. You are alive and can still enjoy the day. Sometimes things happen for a reason and you still are around to enjoy life and all it has to offer....

My .02c
