Man I would be pissed. How did you hold yourself back from doing something real bad to him. No DL or insurance I would have beat the shi$ out of him I don;t care what anyone says. He should not be on the roads. If you do go to court it will take about 1 to 2 years to see any money. I had my windows smashed once and the kid was caught doing it it took 1 1/2 years to see my 1,000 come back. Good luck anyway

That is sad.. I am really sorry bro.. Hope everything get better soon ..

This had happend to my friend about 3 to 4 month back in his brand new BMW 330CI. The guy crashed into him and had no insurrance so my friend insurrance company ended up paying for the damage.

Hope everything get back to normal soon..
PS: get a big bat.. If this happens again ( GOD FORBID ) get the bat and ask the guy is he has insurrance if he said no then give it to him in his head and put in back in the car and put few illigal stuff in his car.. Drink Driving.. ...

my 2002 civic got rear-ended while waiting for the light to turn green by another sedan with three big burly men. just gotta let it go, after having it painted looked new and since it wasnt my fault, insurance waived my deductible even without a police report. Just purchased myself a pilot to make me feel better and now I am more observant of stupid drivers not paying attention. Im sure they had insurance but it was no use arguing.

Is the quarter panel bent above the taillight? I thought the body line on the side continued uninterrupted all the way back.
It'll cover your car, but not your medical most likely.

court stinks, but your insurance company can make his life a living hell. Remember, even if you can't recover any money for your expenses, you can always screw his credit, driving record, garnesh wages, etc... then there's always the good 'ol tire iron to the base of the skull technique!!!

Since he had no DL and insurance, your insurance will pay for your dmg and they will take that guy to court to see if they can get any money out of him. So, I would not worry about taking him to court. This does mean that your insurance will go up because your company will have to make its money back somehow(get a new company). Also since your company is paying, I would get an independ inspector or find a body shop you trust.....from the look there "could" be chassis bend.

Oh absolutely there's chassis bend! Almost anytime the inside of your trunk folds up like that there's chassis bend. At least re-bar damage. No worries tho it'll all get fixed

A Canadian newspaper (The Globe and Mail) has written that the reason the Evo VIII isn't available in Canada is because Mitsubishi chose to equip it with bumpers that only comply with the 2.5 mph US bumper standard and do not meet the Canadian 8 km/h (5 mph) bumper requirements. I wonder whether a stronger bumper would have made any difference in the amount of damage sustained in this accident?

That paper also said that Canada will have to wait until the next redesign of the Evo before it is sold there, so that means the Evo 9 will likely have tougher bumpers.

that impact was way more than 8mph and probably the driver didnt even realize hitting him until it was too late, also since the car was wet faulty brakes or weather could have been a factor. either way it was more than 8mph. but of course it could have help?

Insurance companies won't pay sh*t anymore because of frivolous law suits by greedy low-lifes and trial lawyers who lobby for insane laws. They have made it immpossible to get fair remuneration without their services. So next time you get a large insurance bill you can thank them. They say they care about the victims that 's BS. If they care why do they steal 33% for a couple hours of boiler plate work? The whole system needs to be revamped!(without lawyers)
