Honda Manual Transmission Fluid

I saw a bottle of this stuff in the Honda Dealership. It is Honda Factory Manual Tranny Fluid and I was wondering if any of you ex-Honda guys have any experience with this stuff? Is it compatible with the Evo tranny's synchros?

I use it in my Integra and it seems decent, but I don't think I'd put it in an Evo. It's really just glorified motor oil.

Honda Transmissions Essentially Use 10w30 Motor Oil. Put That In Your Evo And It Won't Be Pretty Long Term. I Use A Mix Of Redline Mt90 And Mtl. My Tranny Shifts Awesome. That Is My 2 Cents.

O.K., thanks for the help guys. I'll cross it off the list. I was just curious when I saw the bottle.

it wasnt a bad question you asked so dont worry... some guys use synthetic honda motor oil in their gixxers... why? probably because its good stuff and it doesnt have to only be for honda's, its just made by them...for our tranny i would probably go with the redline though, its good stuff..

Yeah, my brother(...same mother, but different father!), who is totally **** , swears by the Honda motor oils, specifically Honda Break-in oil which he says comes in all Hondas as delivered new from the factory. So when I saw this Honda Mechanical tranny stuff I was just curious.
