IXs are known to put down anywhere between 320-350 whp with only TBE, MBC, drop-in filter, and tuning the stock ecu. Its all in the tune

Total tuning cost me $500. The best $500 I spent on my car. Some may say it is a little too much. But I don’t think so. I know what I paid for and I love it.

The second line in the lower dyno chart is the boost.

They are very similar and very different cars. Each car has its + and -. I love the take off and the clutch of the Suby and I love the handling, spool up and the easy power gains of the Evo (I have spent less then $2000 on the Evo). The Suby has more money put in to it but it makes a little less power and the spool up on it sucks.

Those numbers look real good especially for 91 oct. The IXs are beasts with simple bolt ons.

My IX made 340 hp/ 327 wtq on 93 oct and my STi made 304 hp/ 342 tq with the same mods (minus the mbc on the STi) One difference though my STi has no lag at all. The tuner tuned the variable valve system to start boosting at around 1,800 rpms. Basically any time you give it gas in any gear you have full power.

But the IX is still much faster

BTW- My boost is set at 24 psi on 93 oct on the IX
