The evo still has head room for more power and its streetable. WRX is fine but no way dude Evo is cooler and looks way wicked so take it back to the WRX forum and weep with your brothers over the bug eyes.

That thing is 505 whp. How do you figure 740? That's OVER 30% loss. Besides I think the Evo in the MAX article is at the wheels. Not sure though. 215mph would still smoke it.

The mention that the WRX is streetable si completely false. The engine is completely reworked, the interior is not stock, and the only gauge is the tach. The gas tank is replaced with a small 5 gallon fuel cell. The modifications do cost more then the cost of the car, almost 30,000. The Rigali car also uses Nos to get off the line and to reduce lag, but most of the time it has had problems breaking axles on launches. that car is so far from streetable it is also towed to all of its events. That is okay, but if they did have a streetable product, wouldn't they show the world that is was streetable by driving on just once on a city street?

Besides, the EVo is better. We al know that. The 4g63 engine is much more capable of standing up to boost then the Subaru Boxer. As far as tuning to to ragged edge of performance, the Evo can generate more power at a given reliability.

700 hp 2.0 = not streetable. You could drive anything on the street if you really wanted to I am shure a 300hp evo would be much more fun to drive around on a daily basis

The point is the Norris car is streetable sure if you use 114 octane gas or NOS to get it moving we could have an Evo with 1000bhp.
