Oh man, A couple of months back some guy broke into my talon and stole my EBC,Turbo Timer, SAFC, boost gauge, and other gauges and I literally caught a cold and became sick! I cant imagine if my whole car was stolen...sorry to hear about that man! Hope everything works out.

Is there some sort of GPS system that u can install in you car so incase it gets stolen u can check on the internet where its at and then ambush the fak who stoled it?

they have that kind of thing now? dang, car thieves are getting smarter. i thought the ignition only works with the original key.

It is the #1 stolen vehicle in correlation with production number. Camry's and civics still hold the title of overall. But they include break in's etc on this list.

To my knowledge there hasn't been 1 Evo stolen yet without the key. The immobilizer does work, and this would be the first case i have heard of it being bypassed. Sucks...

I don't know if that would work or not, but I know the code in the ECU needs to be right or your car won't start. Happens sometimes if you flash with a base map and forget to copy it. I was just speculating about possible work-arounds to the immobilizer functionality.

Actually I believe the #1 stolen car percentage to production number is the BMW M-roadster.....

Damn bro. I live in LI also. This is unreal. If i see a EB IX like you described i will call the cops and follow the Fu*ker. It just makes me realize that we can never be too careful with our cars

i hope you've been calling the police around your area instead of chatting with us. If it JUST happened, there's a great chance that they can catch the thief. It has been 3 hours since you posted though..I really hope you get your car back!!
