wow.. guys this such a feeling of violation, the cops just left saying that they most likely will not find it. This really sucks. a few of my co workers saw the guy sitting/driving in my car and thought it was me. (me nad my father are in the warehousing business so theres heavy traffic here). this is making me sick because the guy was RIGHT there infront of them and now the car is gone. I called my insurance broker and they said the pay out will be within 48 hours which i guess is ok, i just NEVER thought this would happen to me. ESPECIALLY AT WORK where the car is less than 100 yards away.

Wow, that's fast turnaround. I would think they would wait a week or so for the car to turn up. You're gonna be playing the waiting game probably praying the cops don't call in 46 hours telling you they found it.

How would someone have stolen a car with an immobilizer key by driving away with it?

Thats kinda what I'm wondering. Did you keep a spare key somewhere in or around your car?

Did your car have an alarm? if not, look into getting one of those pager ones on your next evo.

As for your car, whoever took it, knows what they're doing. Evos are not easy cars to steal... ****, i've notice people having a hard time taking my lancer...( not funny )

I know it hurts, But I put my money on it, that your precious is being stripped out of it's mind right now! Keep an eye out for anyone parting out and ****...

do you have LO-JACK??...i got that, plus it gives u a price cut on ur insurance and pretty much guarentees they will find ur car (or at least pieces of it) and possibly find the people who jacked it, if they happen to still be driving it

that effin sucks, it even makes me ****ty feeling reading about it...i hope everything turns out ok for you in the end..

this is one of the things that worries me the most since i got my evo..people steal what they cant afford and ever since i drove my evo off the lot ive been scared to leave it parked un-attended

this will NOT stop me from owning an evo, ill get another one as soon as i get the insurance payout. The main thing pissing me off is that some scumbag is with my car right now , probly laughing at me.
