Damn.... I'm sorry to hear that. Stupid co workers you have, if they thought you were a spanish guy speeding off at a time where you obviously weren't leaving(not knowing if you're spanish or it was lunch break time of course), but I hope you get it back. GOOD LUCK

wow
When I went to get a car alarm they said they would have to "bypass" the immobilizer to install the remote start by placing a spare programmed key somewhere inside the car. You sure you didn't have this? Otherwise, how would the immobilizer let the car keep running without a key?

He must of either
1. had an ECU with a custom immobilizer bypass (since no EVOs in the states came without it)
2. An over seas ECU that doesnt have an immobiliver
3. Tactix as said and flashed immbilizer to a key he had or a known bypass code
4. People at your work didnt actually see your car and he towed it.
If 1 or 3 are the case we are all in trouble
There is no way to pop the ignition and start it with a screw driver or nothing like that. When I had my 2000 Interga GSR I used to park it next to a 94 Integra needless to say his car got stolen and mine wasnt even touched. Theif must have realized by the VIN it had the Immobilizer. But with the integras all you needed was an ECU from a pre 00 Integra pop it in pop out the ignition and your off.

As for switching ECU from evo to evo it cant be done as far as i know any ways. I had a power fc and i put my old works p2 flashed ecu in my friends evo... Did not work at all.
Like every one else im scared do death reading this thread... I think I will buy an alarm before water injection. BTW clifford alarms makes one that will send you a text if your car is getting messed with.
