about the immobilizer. I had mitsu make me another key when I bought my galant but the shop was not open to program it at the time so I took the un programmed key home and tried it. The key would start the car and let it idle but once you gave it any gas it would die. dont know if this will help, just my .02

Agreed Its not rocket science but youll still need a key that you know the code to so mostly it will other people with EVO's or inside jobs from dealerships stealing your car. I have a pager alarm and a couple other tricks in my EVO so good luck to the fool who tries to steal mine or my girls

Brentwood from what people told me and from what I have seen is like the South Bronx of Long island
