Onstar is one I think.

I use Guidepoint Systems in mine. I can log on to my account and get a recent history report of where the car has been and so on. It works very well. I'd recommend it or a similar system.

Ive been monitoring this thread all day. I didnt want to say anything in the hope that you would find your car in one piece. Im sorry this happened man. It happened to a friend of mine with his S2K. They took it stripped it and found it a month later. It was a huge warehouse bust and found a bunch of cars. This is also in a very nice neighborhood of GA and it happened. It sucks cause none of us are completly safe. Im glad everything is getting taken care of quickly. Ill keep an eye out on ebay myself for really cheap evo ix parts.

You can read why the immobilizer isn't very effective here: http://www.ravelco.com/faq.htm

Ravelco is the best theft prevention available. In the Northeast, visit http://www.neverstolen.com/ and make sure it's on your replacement Evo. And no, I don't work for them, but their track record speaks for itself.

The poor guy's car was found stripped and on fire, as stated way back on page 11... and 2 posts back from yours.

Now, let's call off the vigilante chases of every blue Evo on the East Coast, shall we?

This really sucks. Immobilizers are for the novices. A properly installed alarm stops your car from being driven away. And the .45 stops the bastard from running or breathing.
