no need for the single spring mod, adjust the spring, u'll be fine. besides flutter or a lil compressor surge won't do anything. even ur stock dv would surge sometimes.

so as long as you connect the bottom nipple of the greedy type s into the charge pipe you dont need to do the 1 spring mod

I have to agree 100% with this statement. I have this valve recirculated with both nipples correctly installed and have no surge at all and also the adjustment feature is far more sensitive and easier to tune. I do not like the Single Spring mod. I would bet it will leak at high boost with only one spring and the top vacuum source.
