Corner weights of stock IX
Corner weights of stock IX
Anybody know what the corner weights of a stock Evo IX GSR is? I'm trying to determine what side is better to install my Taylor battery relocation kit. I only want to drill once. I can't decide if I should mount the battery box on the driver or passenger side.
I had mine corner weighted recently, I'll dig out the values next week when I'm back in town and I'll PM you.
what Was interesting was it was around 1435kg total.! Less than misti claim. but I did have the spare wheel and jack removed, as always <cough>

I was thinking of installing it right in the center but I'm installing an amp and subwoofer there. I spend a lot of time in the car and don't mind having the extra weight. Plus it will be removable if I need to take it out. I also wanted to mount the battery over the stock mounting point of the spare tire but then I wouldn't have any trunk space. I'm going to mount it on the passenger side this weekend.
