Car does not idle on its own.
hmmm.. this is an older thread, but has any one figured this problem out? sounds similar to what is going on with my car.. I even swapped out the IAC with another unit.. still no luck.
There are codes after the MAF is unplugged, but I'm assuming they are related to the MAF being unplugged.. the only one that doesn't seem right is the P0183 code for Fuel Tank Temperature circuit high input..
All boost leaks have been checked with a boost leak tester and the car holds 20psi with no issues.. There was a couple of small vacuum leaks at the intake manifold, but they were fixed immediately with no changes.

Take off the SAFC. The previous owner of my car had one installed and my car liked to do the same thing, just not as bad as you are describing. I removed the SAFC and now it never happens.
This thread is from 2006.. It was brought back from the dead since I'm having a similar issue, I don't have an SAFC though.. those are garbage.
