When I first drove my Evo, I had just traded in my stage 2 w/ full exhaust SRT-4 in on it. Up top it felt WAY weak to me. Now that I've driven it for a few months I've adjusted to it and it seems to pull "hard" now hehe.

I rented a truck to move few days ago. When my friends and I went back to our evo after the moving, we all felt the crazy pull again LOL.

Well the evo is an amazing car. I bought the car with 3k on it and it felt slow, but i also went from a 11.7 to a 13.2 so maybe thats wha it was and i also only had it stock for two weeks after that a month later i ran 11.8. It felt slow then it hit puberty

My car felt slow so I started modding it , over and over. I wasn't satisfied until methanol inj was added - allowing car to run HI OCT maps. Now I'm down to my last mod for a while - clutch.

Moral of my story, the ECU has the last say so on wether to run the car fast or not

I dont think that matters. I beat the daylights out of my car for the first 1000 miles. I have 60,000 now and the car is freakishly fast. Its slow because its stock.

Just a quck check... do you live at high altitude? I am at sea level and my car feels very different when i drive upstate to visit my bro who's house is at 6,000 feet above sea level.
